The Social+ Theme 4 Apex Launcher is one of our few themes that needs to be modified a little bit after instalation. But with this step by step guide it should be no problem.
The finished home screen should look like the screen on the right.
How to Change the Homescreen Icons
Go to the homescreen and click on an icon until the bubble appears. Click on "Edit". Now press the "Edit shortcut - window" on the button with the icon.
In "Icon type - window" you have many options. We take the "Select from icon pack". Now you can see all installed icon packs. In our example it is "Buddy Theme 4 Apex Launcher". In the new window you see now all icons that were installed with the theme. Just pick one.
Back in the "Edit shortcut - window" just press "OK". Done That's it. Now you can change all the other icons on your homescreen. Icons for the main apps are included. If not, just take one of the "Allround Icons" that we have added. Try them out.
How to Change the Folder Preview and Folder Background
From the homescreen, go to the App Drawer.
There you click on the menu and then Apex settings. Then click on "folder setting" and "Folder Preview"
In the "Folder Preview" choose "Grid". Press one time the Back button of your smartphone and then choose "Folder Background". Check if there's "Ring" set. If not, change it.
How to Hide the Homescreen Shadows
From the homescreen, go to the App Drawer.
There you click on the menu and then "Apex settings". Then click on "Homescreen settings". Scroll down to "Hide shadows" and mark now box.
That's it, the shadow is gone!
How to Change the Drawer Background Transparency
From the homescreen, go to the App Drawer.
There you click on the menu and then "Apex settings". Then click on "Drawer settings" and "Drawer background transparency"
Push the slider to 82%. Of course you can also set more or less percent. Just try it until you like it. When you find a setting that you like, just press on "Ok. That's it.
That's it. You now have a transparent Drawer background.
